As part of our waste management and waste collection service we provide a segregated wood collection & recycling service.

Wood is recycled by processing it through machines which:

1. Remove small foreign objects such as nails and pallet pins

2. Shred the wood into wood chippings

The wood chippings are then used for the manufacturing of many items including animal bedding other uses for recycled wood chippings include use in horse arenas, golf courses, children’s playgrounds and footpaths.

Recycled wood chippings are also used in the energy generation industry.
