At Hawes we’ve enjoyed and experienced a lot of success and growth in our business since we opened our plant hire business in 1973. And when we expanded our business in 1980 to include a skip hire service we’ve enjoyed even more success on the back of that to the point where Hawes Skip Hire now manages 1,000 skips and an entire fleet of skip lorries to transport them. So our move into opening our very own recycling centre in July 2011 was the next logical step in the growth of Hawes as a brand.
Hawes Recycling can take care of up to 50,000 tonnes of waste and waste material each year. Our staff work very hard to make sure that more than 80% of the waste is recycled and reused for a wide variety of purposes. Hawes also accepts specific types of waste from third-party waste management companies for processing by us also.

Hawes Skip hire can help with the removal of your waste by giving you the option of hiring skips in the following sizes:
