Beaconsfield now has access to a state-of-the-art recycling centre

There are very few companies who can now lay claim to being in business for almost 40 years and there are ever fewer companies who can say they’ve been working in waste management and removal for over 30 years now but that company is Hawes and we’re proud of our achievements over the last few decades. Our waste removal and management business, Hawes Skip Hire, has grown into being a separate business with 14 skip lorries operating on the roads to support our inventory of 1,000 skips of all shapes and sizes. The most natural thing in the world for us was to have our own recycling centre and in 2011 we made that dream a reality for the team here at Hawes.

Our ultra-modern recycling centre can process in excess of 50,000 tonnes of material per year and 80% of that material itself is recycled for a variety of purposes. Our commitment to a high level of recycling means that the environment is far better off because there’s less material going into landfills or incinerators each year.

The Hawes Recycling facility can handle the following types of material:

• Wood waste
• Soil
• Plastics waste
• Metals waste
• Brick and concrete waste
• Tarmac
• Paper and cardboard waste

And to ensure that you have as little trouble as possible both removing and recycling your waste we also offer a skip hire service to make sure that your skip waste goes directly from your front door to the Hawes recycling centre.

The following skip capacities are available:

• 3, 6, 10, 12 and 40-yard skips
• 12,18,30 and 40-yard roll on – roll off bins
• Tipper hire

We aim to reduce the amount of waste that’s not recycled each year in Beaconsfield for both our domestic and commercial customers.
